What is a Florida restricted barber?
With a Florida Restricted Barber license permit, a restricted barber can: cut hair, shave, shampoo, blow-dry hair, and apply hair tonics and hair sprays. Restricted Barbers are not allowed to perform any kind of chemical service (e.g., permanent waving, relaxing, and hair coloring). This makes the Restricted Barber path the ideal choice for students who want to enter the workforce quickly and focus on high-demand services like fades and shaves.
